Solar System
The Solar System is the gravitationally bound collection of celestial bodies orbiting our Sun. Born roughly 4.6 billion years ago from a collapsing cloud of gas and dust, it contains eight planets, their moons, asteroids, comets, and countless smaller objects arranged in orbital layers defined by Gravity.
At the center, the Sun accounts for 99.86% of the system's mass, its gravitational dominance organizing everything else.
