Bioluminescence

Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by living organisms through chemical reactions within their cells. Unlike Sunlight reflected off surfaces, this light originates from evolved biochemical pathways—a remarkable adaptation for movement, communication, attraction, and predation in dark environments.
